Sometimes people come into your life like a gift from the universe and they settle into your heart like they’ve always been there.

With 8 billion people on the planet, it can make you wonder, why do we meet certain people? Is it random? Is it meant to be?

It’s such a special feeling to be introduced to someone for the very first time and as you start talking with them, it’s all just so natural…there are no formalities, and there’s not even a get-to-know-you phase, you just immediately click and it feels like you’ve always known each other.

Don’t hesitate to let these people in.

They teach you new things. They challenge you. They wake up the fire inside of you.

They might even turn out to be some of the best people in your life.

These people are so new and exciting, yet so familiar. I’m not sure if this makes me believe in fate or destiny, but it makes me believe in something.

I’ve been reflecting on some of the people that have come and gone in my life.

I’ve had people that have hurt me to my core. There were others who helped to pick up the pieces of my soul. Then there were those who taught me how to have fun again. In the end…each one taught me something.

But those souls who are so familiar…the ones who you are getting to know, yet remembering all at the same time, that is a special feeling that I hope everyone gets to experience.
